July 4th Barrington Family Fitness Run

Are you interested in enjoying a scenic and challenging course through downtown Barrington? Want to support a great cause? We hope you’ll join us for a race on the 4th of July!

Family Fitness Run 5k/10k

We are proud to sponsor the Advocate Good Shepard Family Fitness Run 5k/10k. Start your 4th of July celebration with some healthy fun and support the arts in Barrington! Proceeds will benefit the Barrington Cultural Commission.

The event will be held at the corner of S. Cook St. & Park Ave, and the courses will run through downtown Barrington. This year the event features a kids run, a 5k, and a 10k course. The kids run will start at 7 a.m. and will finish before the 5k and 10k start at 7:15 a.m.

You can still register for the race online or in person on race day! The registration fee is $35 ($40 after 11:59 p.m on July 3rd) for the 5k and 10k, and $12 for the kids run. Registration comes with a t-shirt and a commemorative medal for race finishers.
